Real Sociedad has re-signed 21-year-old forward Javier Soroeta for Sanse next season after exercising a buy-back clause, Diario Vasco reports. Soroeta scored 15 goals in 29 matches in Segunda RFEF last season. The Donostia-born striker was sold to Real Unión last summer, but La Real retained a preferential option to bring him back before 15 June. The move was made official on Wednesday. Soroeta now returns to the txuri-urdin set-up to step into Segunda División, two categories above where he was playing last term. Soroeta has signed through to the end of the 2027/28 season. Two seasons ago he played for Real C and even made his Sanse debut in Primera RFEF. He will reunite with contemporaries Arkaitz Mariezkurrena and Gorka Carrera, both born in 2005.
